Ryan McCarthy, Executive Director

Roxbury Latin ‘16, B.S. Resource Economics University of Massachusetts Amherst ‘20

Ryan undertook the role of Executive Director in September 2022. As a former student and graduate of the Project D.E.E.P. program, he experienced first-hand the many wide-ranging benefits of the program, namely his admittance to The Roxbury Latin School through Project D.E.E.P.’s Private & Parochial Placement Program after earning a scholarship to an ISL Hockey Camp through Project D.E.E.P.’s One-on-One Tutoring Program. Still deeply rooted in and fueled by the foundational D.E.E.P. principles, Ryan pairs a traditional economic background with an intuitive approach to educational development and a strong analytical mindset. Ryan’s skill set and experience will enable him to efficiently direct, cultivate and expand D.E.E.P.’s year-round and integrated programing. Ryan is committed to the educational development of the youth of Dorchester.
