Project D.E.E.P. would be nothing without our friends.

From the beginning, our goal was to set up strategic collaborations throughout the Dorchester community and beyond, through the public and private sectors of Greater Boston. The following is an illustration of the many key friendships that we have made. All of them deserve a great amount of credit for helping to make Project D.E.E.P. the best program for the middle school children of Dorchester.

- John Hanlon, Project D.E.E.P.'s Executive Director

The City of Boston

The support from The City of Boston is listed here as the bottom line because, for eight years now, the city's support has been the bottom line to the organization's success, the foundation on which Project D.E.E.P. stands. Mayor Thomas M. Menino has been steadfast in his advocacy for the Project D.E.E.P. since day one, and the organization's affiliation with the Boston Centers for Youth and Families has been tremendous, generating the space and overhead support that have enabled Project D.E.E.P. to develop into the best after-school program for middle school children in the city. Without friends like these, though, Project D.E.E.P. might never have existed.
